South Korean military brought to highest combat-readiness level
The South Korean military are at the highest combatready alert regarding the upcoming May 9 presidential elections. According to TASS, a senior military official in Seoul said the combatreadiness level is due to possible military provocations from North Korea.
“The troops maintain heightened level of military readiness,” he said. According to him, North Korea might attempt ballistic missile tests or even nuclear tests in this period.
