Azerbaijani forces fired anti-tank grenade launcher, D-44 cannon: Artsakh’s Defense Army forces took preventive measures

The Defense Ministry of the Republic of Artsakh told Armenpress the Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire regime over 60 times across the ArtsakhAzerbaijan line of contact. The Ministry’s statement says:

“On May 17 and overnight May 18 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime over 60 times by firing more than 650 shots from various caliber weapons at the Armenian positions in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.

In addition, the Azerbaijani forces fired also anti-tank grenade launcher (23 grenades) at the eastern direction, D-44 cannon (18 shells) and 82 mm mortar (4 shells) at the north-eastern direction of the line of contact. Artsakh’s Defense Army forces took preventive measures and continued confidently fulfilling their military duties.”
