The Artsakh Defense Army forces took countermeasures: Azerbaijani forces fired mortars and automatic grenade launcher

The Defense Ministry of Artsakh Republic told the Azerbaijani force violated the ceasefire regime more than 95 times at night across the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact. The Ministry’s announcement reads:

“On May 23 and overnight May 24 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime more than 95 times by firing over 1140 shots from various caliber small arms at the Armenian positions in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.

In addition, the Azerbaijani forces fired also 60 mm and 82 mm mortars (14 shells) and automatic grenade launcher (41 shells) in the south-eastern direction of the line of contact. The Artsakh Defense Army forces took countermeasures and continued condently fullling their military tasks”.
