The standing committees of the Armenian parliament held sessions on May 31, where deputy chairmen of the committees were elected. Aghvan Vardanyan from the ARF faction was elected deputy chairman of the healthcare and social affairs standing committee.

13 military personnel, including one General were killed in a crash of a Cougartype military helicopter in Turkey’s southern province of Sirnak, Anadolu reports. The crash occurred after hitting a highvoltage power line three minutes after take off.
