Bipartisan leaders of the US Senate Banking Committee announced a plan on Wednesday to enhance sanctions against Russia over its actions in Ukraine and Syria, as well as alleged internet intrusions in the U.S, according to Bloomberg.
“It authorizes the Ombudsman to carry out control on the use of provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of Children, prevention of violations of children’s rights, as well as their protection. Starting from last year the Department of Protection of Rights of Children operates in the Ombudsman’s Office.”
13 military personnel, including one General were killed in a crash of a Cougartype military helicopter in Turkey’s southern province of Sirnak, Anadolu reports. The crash occurred after hitting a highvoltage power line three minutes after take off.
