Armenian foreign minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan held a telephone conversation with CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas over the military operations launched by Azerbaijan on July 12 in the direction of Armenia’s Tavush province, Armenian MFA spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan said on Facebook.
Azerbaijan’s defense ministry informed that one more soldier of the Azerbaijani armed forces has died in the incident on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
After a two-three hour break, the Azerbaijani side has resumed its provocative operations early morning, continuing the shelling towards the positions of the Armenian Army, Defense minister’s spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan said on Facebook.

Armenian foreign ministry voices a strong condemnation of the ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijan’i armed forces in the direction of the Tavush region of the Republic of Armenia starting from the afternoon of July 12, which was “accompanied by the attempts to infiltrate into Armenian positions with the use of artillery. As a result of the proportionate actions of the Armenian side, these provocative actions have been effectively suppressed”,- says the written statement of the spokesperson of the Armenia’s MFA Anna Naghdalyan.
