Statement of EEAS Joseph Borell delivered in European Parliament today was quite disappointing.

EU current commission at the very beginning of its mandate pledged to be more geopolitical and proactive in Security and Foreign affairs issues around the globe. But Mr Borell on 11th day of the war had nothing to say actually, except for mantras about fake news, propaganda and “third parties”.

Mr Borell, is EEAS so weak indeed to check and to voice about involvement of islamist mercenaries?
Mr Borell, does EEAS energy policy prerogatives prevail the value and commitments EU claimed to be founded on?

Geopolitical consequences of ongoing Azerbaijani-Turkish-Islamists aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh will change entire region, if not the much wider area.

Mr Borell, this reverberations undoubtedly will be felt both around EU and even inside, putting the ticking bombs under Eastern Partnership Area.

One could say, that EU has only “soft power” to be exercised. Mr Borell, in that case why it is more “soft” than “power”?
I am very grateful for their dignity and solidarity to those numerous MEPs who are trying to save the face of EU political institutions by vocalizing our pain, speaking up the truth and calling for justice!

Maybe the rose lenses are comfortable for EEAS leadership, bur remember that in case of war the rose is just faded blood-red. Yes, this blood is not on your hands, but on your lenses.
