The Armenian Ministry of Defense is denying the Azerbaijani authorities’ claims alleging Armenia has fired ballistic missiles in the direction of Gabala and Kurdamir. Armenian Defense Ministry spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan called the allegations “utter nonsense and a cynic lie.”
The Azerbaijani armed forces are firing artillery strikes at the town of Martuni and nearby villages, the State Service of Emergency Situations of Artsakh said.
The situation at the Artsakh-Azerbaijan conflict zone overnight October 21-22 was “relatively stable-tense”, with artillery battles resuming in individual parts amid the Azerbaijani attacks, the Defense Ministry of Artsakh said.
