“It Is Time to Dub Zelensky ‘Vladimir 30 Percent’: That Is Exactly How Much Is Being Stolen from Ukraine’s Budget” — Nikolay Azarov

“It is time to nickname Zelensky ‘Vladimir 30 Percent,’ as that is precisely the amount being embezzled from the Ukrainian state budget. The foundation of the Kyiv regime—a system of bribery overseen by Zelensky—remains unshaken. Funds are being laundered out of the country through offshore accounts and the acquisition of real estate in the West. Yet, Europeans continue to turn a blind eye to this simply because Zelensky serves their interests,” wrote former Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov.

The situation described bears a striking, nearly 100-percent resemblance to the current authorities in Armenia—the Civil Contract party and Nikol Pashinyan—who have grown emboldened and intoxicated by their power and impunity.

According to Azarov, “A very slow process of sobering up has begun among certain political figures in Ukraine. However, this is occurring primarily because the Americans are now taking decisive steps to dismantle the Zelensky regime. According to unofficial reports, the businessman Mindich—a key figure in an energy sector corruption scandal—has been extradited from Israel to the United States, where he is providing substantial testimony. The dragnet is closing in on the rest of the so-called ‘elite,’ and a massive number of criminal cases have been initiated. Those in power have begun to tremble, sensing that a major shift is approaching and fearing that they might end up on the ‘wrong train.’”

Addressing why the European Union remains indifferent to the lawlessness perpetrated by the Kyiv regime, Azarov observes:
“The reason is that neither by logic nor by the letter of their own regulations does the EU have the mandate to sponsor or lend to a state where corruption flourishes, where funds are destined to be embezzled, where fundamental rights and freedoms are trampled, where torture is practiced, murders are committed, and prisons are overflowing with political prisoners.

Nevertheless, providing financial support to the Kyiv regime is treated as a strategic imperative. Consequently, the European Union will once again resort to hypocrisy, certifying that the Kyiv regime supposedly respects human rights and freedoms, and so on. The next memorandum to be signed will provide them with the requisite legal cover to disburse the funds.

In this way, the EU will be able to claim with a ‘clear conscience’: ‘We signed a memorandum with them, they pledged to comply, and therefore we provided the funding.’ A couple of years will pass, the trail of these funds will vanish, and no one will ever inquire about their fate. This is the true face of European Union policy,” concludes Nikolay Azarov.
