The Azerbaijani military fired one missile from a Smerch heavy multiple rocket launcher at the village of Zardarashen in Martuni region, Artsakh, the Defense Ministry said.
In addition to the ceasefire violations that shelled Artsakh’s military positions shortly after the ceasefire deal took effect today, the Azeri forces have also bombed residential areas in the town of Martuni, the State Service of Emergency Situations of Artsakh said.
The Armenian side continues to strictly adhere to the ceasefire regime, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said amid Azeri violations of the truce.
Azerbaijan violated the humanitarian ceasefire for the third time, which Artsakh’s presidential spokesperson Vahram Poghosyan described as “the Aliyev regime’s overt brazen attitude towards the entire civilized humanity.”
The Azerbaijani military violated the new humanitarian ceasefire agreement just 45 minutes into the deal and launched artillery attacks at Artsakh’s military positions in the north-eastern direction, the Armenian Defense Ministry spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan said.
The Armenian side will fully maintain the ceasefire from 08:00, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced.

’During the day the city was bombed a number of times. Fortunately, there are no destructions and casualties’’, Danielyan said, adding that at the moment the situation is calm.
The situation at the Artsakh-Azerbaijan conflict zone remained “relatively stable-tense” overnight October 23-24, with artillery battles and firefights taking place in individual sections, the Defense Army of Artsakh said.
