He shoots “Mayrig” and “The Paradis Street 588” (the address of the Malakian family in Marseille) upon the proposal of his friend, Armenian writer Henri Troyat. It’s known that scenario for “Mayrig” had more than 40 variants, however, only one is being published and translated in 10 languages in 1985, with 200.000 copies.

The Republic of Armenia and the USA don’t have a document on mutual legal assistance and if the U.S. didn’t submit corresponding grounds, Armenia was obliged to free Russia’s citizen Sergey Mironov, i.e. decision of the judge was lawful.

We also condemn Azerbaijan’s most recent aggression in early April against the people of Artsakh that led to hundreds of military and civilian casualties. We remain hopeful that a peaceful resolution to the Karabakh conflict will be found, and appreciate your unwavering pursuit of regional security and stability.”
“It leaves a provocation impression. This unacceptable act cannot damage Armenia-US strong friendly partnership”, he said.
