My grandmother Hasmik Kanayan passed away on the night of April 24, 1998, with her innermost wishes unaccomplished: visiting her sister Heghine’s and her husband’s tombs, and returning back to her birthplace, Igdir, which she had been forced to flee at the age of 10.

Ucom is set to commence a network modernization in various regions of Armenia. In particular, on March 28, the legacy Mobile Switching Subsystem will be replaced with a new one.
Ucom announces the launch of the modernization efforts aimed at enhancing the coverage and end-user performance of existing 4G+ networks in the regions of Armenia and the upgrade and expansion of the mobile network in preparation for the delivery of 5G-ready services.
