The recently renovated Ucom sales and service center at Komitas 30 is now open to the public. Operating from Monday to Saturday without breaks from 9:00 to 21:00, and on Sundays from 10:00 to 21:00, this center offers enhanced facilities for customers.
Ucom has expanded its uTV channel lineup for sports enthusiasts by introducing two new channels: Fast Sports 1 and Fast Sports 2, now accessible through the Premium Sport-themed package.
Ucom announces the initiation of a new phase in network modernization. As part of this endeavor, official agreements were signed in Yerevan with two industry leaders: Nokia, a global giant, and MediaKind, an internationally acclaimed company that provides cutting-edge television solutions and high-quality services. This time, the endeavors were consolidated through the established collaboration between Galaxy Group of Companies and Armenian Red Cross Society. Within this framework, the companies and employees of Galaxy along with substantial financial backing from the founders collectively contributed 100 tons of aid, providing primary food packages to 5,000 families from Artsakh.
Cooperation between Ucom and Arevordi NGOcontinues in the communities of Armenia. A 10.3 kW solar power plant has been installed on the kindergarten’s roof. Thanks to the electricity generated, the building will be heated during the colder months, ensuring a warm environment for the children. The solar plant installation became a reality through the collaboration between Ucom company and SunChild NGO.
Ralph Yirikian, Director General of Ucom, met with the governors of two regions: Vayots Dzor Governor Kolya Mikaelyan, whom he congratulated on his appointment, and Tavush Governor Hayk Ghalumyan. During the discussion with the governors, he thanked them for their support in providing aid and noted that the sectoral support will continue in those regions.
Infrastructures are of great importance for Goghtanik residents of Vayots Dzor region. Compatriots forcibly displaced from Artsakh have recently settled in the village with 200 inhabitants. With the support of Ucom company and SunChild NGO, a solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 6.9 kWt was installed in the administrative building of Goghtanik settlement of Yeghegis enlarged community. The aim is to spread the green agenda and develop community infrastructure.
