Dr. Arthur Khachikyan, PhD in Political Science from Stanford University, discussed the persecution of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church by Nikol Pashinyan’s government, Pashinyan’s disgraceful anti-church campaign, and also the possible implications of the new US National Security Strategy by the Trump Administration for Armenia with Dr. John Eibner, American human rights activist and the President of Christian Solidarity International (CSI) human rights organization John Eibner.
This year, the Yerevan municipality planned to purchase 45 trolleybuses with its own funds. But now it turns out they have no money, so the purchase will be made with state budget funds—while the city can allocate huge sums to various NGOs and known or unknown organizations.

Your country was formed as a result of the heroic efforts and unyielding struggle of people, and it is the birth of the people’s right to self-determination. The American Declaration of Independence states that everyone has the right to pursuit happiness. Yes, Artsakh Armenians also have the right to pursuit happiness. It is my friendly request and admonition not to engage in the black business of making them miserable.
With the arrest of Mr. Ashotyan Armenia makes one more step towards establishment of democratic authoritarianism.
