EEC Chairman: Business must be a key subject for Eurasian integration

A number of issues related to technical regulation and trade were discussed during the Eurasian Economic Commission session chaired by ECC President Tigran Sargsyan, informs citing the EAEU press release.

During the session Tigran Sargsyan stressed the necessity of paying more attention to the business requirements of the EAEU member states.

“We must create all necessary conditions for the sustainable development of economies of our states. And it cannot be achieved without the creation of favorable conditions for the business. Business must be the key subject and beneficiary of the Eurasian integration”, he said.

“We have announced and promised the business-complicity that we aim to apply more advanced norms in the Union. We must do everything to practically implement all these steps. Our documents must be in compliance with the world standards and ensure maximum unimpeded commercial environment” Tigran Sargsyan said.

In this regard, he suggested the EAEU ministers to conduct a monitoring over the effectiveness of the decisions made by the Commission.
