Henrikh Mkhitaryan not to Take Part in Denmark-Armenia Match

Armenian national football team captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan will not take part in the WC-2018 qualifier between Denmark and Armenia, informed the Football Federation of Armenia.

“As earlier reported, Armenian national team captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan received an injury during Czech Republic-Armenia match on August 31. As a result , he was unable to continue the match. Today Henrikh Mkhitaryan passed a medical examination at one of the clinics in Mlada Boleslav. Unfortunately, the results are not encouraging. Usually a week up to 10 days is needed for recovery. This means that he wil not be able to take part in Denmark-Armenia match on September 4”, the statement says.
