All necessary conditions are created in Armenia for the installation of low capacity autonomous solar stations. After legislative changes, individuals and enterprises can now install up to 150 kW solar stations for their own use, produce power and sell the surplus to the “Electric Networks of Armenia” company.
According to Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan’s decisions, Boris Demirkhanyan and Arman Khachatryan were appointed Deputy Ministers of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies.
On November 28, 2016, in accordance with the agreement reached with the leadership of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission conducted a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the eastern direction of Talish settlement of the NKR Martakert region, press service of the NKR MFA informed.
“The biggest problem in Turkey-Armenia relation is the following: in Turkey most of the people have no idea and have never thought about the fact that there was Genocide, due to 100 years of governmental police, none of the Turks has any idea of the unspoken, forbidden truth. So, they never question if there was the fact of Genocide, because they have no idea if there were Armenians living before.”
Main source of income for households of the Republic of Armenia is hired job. Thus, monthly nominal monetary income of households in 2015 per capita comprised AMD 52377, from which AMD 28800 (55%) comprises hired job. This information was provided by RA National Statistical Service through its report entitled “Food security and poverty 2016.”
“Of course, I don’t consider that it’s coincidence: this is the reflection of Russian big policy in the South Caucasus, generally in the Caucasus. However, let’s observe them one by one, as Armenia is an independent, sovereign country, and although I’m completely sure, that military cooperation, as well as generally policy pursued by Russia contradicts Armenia’s national interests, Armenia’s authorities have the right to make that decision.”
The Minister clarified, “you shouldn’t be elected an MP, but become a candidate,” there are certain eligibility demands on involvement in the other list, which after submitting the list, will be assessed by the competent state authority.
“But we also assess well enough the irreversible damage we can inflict on the adversary. I think there is no need to go deeper. We will not engage in arms race, we see no sense in that” Serzh Sargsyan said, adding that Armenia’s resources, both human and material, are enough to solve the tasks.
“We have reached the point where though we have to think about saving money, restricting and adopting a conservative budget, we have managed to effectively withstand the challenges, ensure economic growth, raise the competitiveness of the economy, and expand export volumes. The policy of just relying on external donations loans is already in the past,” he added.
“Armenia’s economic immunity has greatly changed during these years, we have managed to develop all the institutions that are able to well mitigate all the external negative waves and prevent them from reaching our people, families with no obstacles,” Serzh Sargsyan said, noting that Armenia recorded 29.3% economic growth in the period of 2007-2015, while the growth is assessed at 32% by the IMF.
