Turkey not interested in NK conflict settlement: Shavarsh Kocharyan
Shavarsh Kocharyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, commented on the announcement made by Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Nagorno Karabakh conflict in Moscow.
Answering the question of Public TV “Orakarg” programme, Kocharyan said, “For years, the leadership of Turkey, through its provocative statements, has been toughening already destructive policy of Azerbaijan in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, with an aim to prevent possible progress in the negotiation process.
It’s obvious that Turkey doesn’t need the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as the establishment of stable peace in the region will significantly decrease the degree of Baku’s dependence on Ankara.”
