Armenia’s membership to EEU doesn’t hamper dialogue with the EU: Vigen Sargsyan

Armenia’s membership to the Eurasian Economic Union doesn’t hamper active dialogue with the European Union, Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan said in his speech during the Valdai session in Yerevan.

“Armenia made a quite acknowledged decision, very well assessing the economic, nancial aspects of membership to the EEU, that from an economic point of view the membership to that structure is more appropriate, than signing a free trade agreement with the EU,” the Minister said.

According to him, Armenia’s membership to the EEU doesn’t hamper whatsoever deep cooperation and relations in both political and economic directions with the EU.
