Indoor smoke-free places can be hard to find in Yerevan since it’s basically a national habit. But do not fret, my dearest non-smokers, our time has come. Our very limited spots are broadening and our choices are increasing. Over the years, more and more non-smoking places have emerged, and now us non-smokers are free to breathe fresh air and not reek of smoke at the end of the day. 10. Bureaucrat Cafe & Bookstore
Initially a bookstore, Bureaucrat eventually became a unique mix of a cafe, a gallery, a bar, and obviously, a bookstore. It is known for being a very quiet and a cozy place, offering a calm atmosphere surrounded by books. It’s basically the perfect place for any bookworm to enjoy food and be in their comfort zone. The food served is healthy and highly enjoyable, the service is high quality and fast, and the prices are affordable. Baguette & Co. is a French patisserie-cafe that offers the most exquisite pastries in Yerevan. Not only do they look good, but are also mouthwatering. There are different kinds of croissants, all baked goods being fresh. Besides serving of the best pastries in the city, they have excellent coffee and tasty fresh juices The place provides you with a pleasant environment and a very friendly staff. It is the perfect place to stop by in the
morning. The prices are relatively high, but most definitely worth it.
8. Il Solo Gelato
Il Solo Gelato is perhaps the city’s most favorite place to get gelatos. Although they are creamier than regular ice-cream, they also have sorbet choices. The flavors range from chocolate to sour and alcoholic. The gelateria also offers pastries and desserts such as crepes, cookies, waffles, etc., coffee, tea and fresh smoothies. Apart from being a gelateria, they serve one of the most refreshing ice-teas with a wide range of flavors. The staff is wonderful and is always prepared to give you recommendations on what flavors you should try. The prices are more than affordable. Il Solo Gelato is a summer staple.
7. Twelve Tables
Twelve Tables can be considered Yerevan’s most adorable restaurant. Like the name says, it has exactly 12 tables. It is simultaneously a vintage store with antique handmade goods. The place is known for its variety of teas and its delightful, soothing and homey mood, it takes you back in time with its vintage compositions. It has incredible service, and certainly, appetizing food, most of which remind you of home-made food like soup, salad, pasta. Even their menu is handwritten. The prices are inexpensive, and you get more than you asked for.
6. Brioche
A French boulangerie-cafe, Brioche serves traditional French food. The place carries you to a intimate, graceful Parisian environment. Brioche specializes in serving breakfast food, the best croissants, from plain chocolate to yummy almond croissants, and a variety of delicious cakes along with the finest coffee can be found in the charming cafe. It also offers a wide range of teas. The staff is polite and the service quality is good. The delicious food lives up to the chic atmosphere, and they are all reasonably priced.

The environment is very pleasant, romantic and relaxing, the place itself is captivating and enchanting. It isn’t the most affordable place, but the prices are passable.

The Green Bean coffee shop is among the city’s favorites. The place is eco friendly and has a warm atmosphere. Their kitchen offers organic food and greater choices of vegan and vegetarian food, as well as special desserts for the lactose intolerant. In short, doesn’t matter what you prefer, you will find yourself with many options. Everything here is of high quality: food, staff, service. It is also very convenient for working. Undoubtedly, they have the best coffee in the city. The prices are fairish.
2. Crumbs Bread Factory
Although they specialize in European bread and pastry baking, Crumbs has one of the most scrumptious food in Yerevan. No chemicals or artificial additives are used in their food. Many ingredients are made from scratch such as homemade sun-dried tomatoes and other seasonal vegetables. Although vegetarian and vegan options are limited, they are still very tasty and savory. Crumbs has a rather minimalist design with cute ceramic handmade elements in the cafe. The environment is relaxing and fit for working as well. The service is fast and the staff is friendly and attentive. It is a bit pricy, but it’s definitely worth it.

Wine Republic, located in the heart of Yerevan, is possibly the best place to drink wine and enjoy the best food you can find in the city. The large selection of wines are not only local, but from all over the world. The staff is more than happy to help you with deciding on which wine to try. The interior is fascinating and lavish. The food is heavenly, tempting and savory. They also serve seafood, and unquestionably the best burgers you’ll find in Yerevan. Wine Republic has the best environment accompanied by great music. Their prices are expensive, but for what it’s worth, you’ll have the time of your life.
