Eduard Sharmazanov to head RPA headquarters for Yerevan City Council election
The headquarters of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) for the Yerevan City Council election will be headed by Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, RPA spokesman Eduard Sharmazanov, Ruben Tadevosyan – Chairman of the RPA Organizational Commission told Armenpress.
Three political forces – RPA, Yerkir Tsirani party and Yelk bloc submitted applications for their participation in the Yerevan City Council election.
The RPA proportional list is headed by current Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, Yerkir Tsirani’s list is headed by party president Zaruhi Postanjyan, and Yelk bloc’s list is led by MP, Civil contract party board member Nikol Pashinyan.
The Yerevan City Council election will be held on May 14 2017. The election campaign will launch on April 21 and will last until May 12.
