6 countries, including Armenia to take part in “Combat Cooperation-2017” military exercises

In September 2017, 6 countries, including Armenia, will take part in the ‘Combat Cooperation-2017’ joint military exercises, Pavel Kurachenko, first deputy chief of the Aerospace Force of Russia told reporters on April 12, RIA Novosti reports.

“This year’s main event of operative readiness is the “Combat Cooperation-2017″ joint military exercise of CIS participating states through a combat shooting of joint air defense system of troops which will be held in September 2017,” he said.

The troops of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as well as the military delegations of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan as observers will take part in the military exercise. The 46th session of the Coordinating Committee on Air Defense under the CIS Defense Ministers Council is being held in Bishkek on April 12.
