Smuggling attempt of tomatoes labeled “KARABAX” prevented
The State Revenue Committee (SRC) has prevented 272 smuggling attempts of agricultural products as of April 12.
As result, around 18 tons of agricultural products, mainly tomatoes, were discovered. The smugglers attempted to transport the products in hidden storages of vehicles. All attempts were prevented, the SRC told.
Only recently the SRC prevented the attempted smuggling of around 50kg of tomatoes and cucumbers labeled “KARABAX”. The smugglers attempted to transport the goods in boxes covered with apples.
