Azerbaijani side fired more than 970 shots overnight: 60mm mortar and automatic grenade launcher were also used
The Defense Ministry of Artsakh Republic told on May 8 and overnight May 9 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime over 65 times by firing more than 970 shots from various caliber small arms at the Armenian positions in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.
In the southern direction of the line of contact the Azerbaijani forces fired also 60mm mortar (11 shells) and automatic grenade launcher (3 grenades).
The Defense Army forces of Artsakh took countermeasures and continued confidently conducting the military service.
