Ara Babloyan elected Speaker of the Parliament
Voting for the Speaker at the National Assembly is over. Gagik Melikyan, chairman of the counting committee, said there are no null votes, 88 MPs voted for Ara Babloyan, and 12 against, and in favor of Edmon Marukyan nominated by “Yelk” bloc 12 MPs voted for, and 88 against.
“Ara Babloyan was elected Speaker of the National Assembly,” G.Melikyan said.
