Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan doesn’t accept opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan’s proposal on the election format of the people’s candidate.
President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian has released a statement, saying that he is starting consultations from April 25 with representatives of parliamentary and extra-parliamentary forces to discuss the situation in Armenia and ways for solutions, the President’s Office said.
The US State Department has addressed the ongoing domestic situation in Armenia, calling on all sides to act constructively.
