The Azerbaijani armed forces continue to ignore the humanitarian cessation of hostilities agreement and have launched rocket-artillery attacks from the southern, northern, north-eastern and eastern directions at Artsakh, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan said.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented on the statement of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev according to which “Turkey must play a more active role in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process, both within the frames of the Minsk Group and other formats”.
Russia expects that the October 10 Moscow agreement on cessation of hostilities in Nagorno Karabakh will be steadily preserved, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan in Moscow amid Azerbaijan’s disregard to the truce and continued attacks on Artsakh.
