According to Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan, by recognizing the Armenian Genocide the Bundestag has put Turkey into a strange situation.
“The Czech President announced that he does not only support, but also will urge the Government and Parliament to start the recognition process. He talked about this issue last year, however, this time he said he will take additional steps for it. Time will show”, Deputy FM said during the briefing.
“It’s crucial by the circumstance, that Germany itself accepted that it’s basically an accomplice to that crime. In this case, when the accomplice accepts the guilt, and the real crime committer denies, it’s becoming at least strange,” the FM said.
“Preferential agreement on military-technical cooperation in CSTO system is the major point. This means Armenia may purchase (in CSTO member countries) armaments from plant-producers with preferential prices,” said Bordyuzha, adding that “there are many working manners” for modernization of Armenian Armed Forces.
