The Aurora Humanitarian Initiative founders, Noubar Afeyan, Vartan Gregorian and Ruben Vardanyan, today announced a commitment of $2 million in assistance to cover immediate needs in Armenia and Artsakh and to secure funding to provide educational and other support for the young generation of the two Armenian republics affected by the war.
The Defense Army continues waging a fight to “life or death” for every inch of land it is defending, President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan said on October 5.

The Artsakh Defense Army forces are engaged in fierce battles to repel the attacking Azerbaijani forces, the Armenian Defense Ministry spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan said.
Azerbaijani forces are bombarding with missiles the cities of Stepanakert and Shushi in Artsakh.

The situation at the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact was “relatively stable-tense” overnight October 4-5, the Artsakh Defense Army said.
Overnight October 4-5 and this moment battles continue in the Artsakh-Azerbaijani conflict zone at various intensity, Armenia’s defense ministry spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan said on social media.
