Russian president Vladimir Putin’s recent visit to Armenia was the last step on the way to the collapse of the Armenian statehood that started on September 3rd, when the Armenian president announced about joining Customs Union.
The World Bank has published a report entitled “Republic of Armenia: Accumulation, Competition, and Connectivity.” The government of Armenia will not be happy about some definitions and interpretations in this report.

During the recent session of the RA committee on regulating public services it was agreed to sell Vorotan’s HPS’s complex to the American Contour Global company. The latter will pay approximately 180 million USD. The American company will own the HPS’s of Spandaryan (built in 1989), Shamb (built in 1979), Tatev (built in 1970) as well as premises belonging to the complex.
Yesterday the parliament discussed the announcement bill of the pension reform component, which was initiated by Prosperous Armenia party that declared itself an opposition party.

There is an opinion that despite Armenia’s active involvement in WWII and sacrifices, its territory did not become an active arena for war. This is an assumption only. War historians assert that Armenia was an arena for war during the WWII as well. For this purpose below are some examples from the war to show that the war geography expanded to this area as well.
In the capital of Armenia we can often see people complaining about their social economic situation. War veterans are organizing protests in the Liberty square, people discontent with the pension reform are complaining in front of the parliament, people cheated by constructors are out on the streets too.
