During the phone talk the two Presidents talked about Turkey-US relations and reaffirmed their readiness to fight against terrorism. Trump said the US supports Turkey as a NATO ally and strategic partner.

The Supreme Court of Belarus has denied the appeal of Alexander Lapshin regarding the Belarus Prosecutor General’s decision on extraditing him to Azerbaijan, Sputnik reports. The Supreme Court’s session on the appeal lasted less than half an hour. Lapshin’s attorney, Natalya Shekina, said her client was not present in the Court.
Ukraine and Azerbaijan have decided not to allow goods made on the territories that are not under control of Baku and Kyiv to enter their territories without permits from official authorities, Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Oleksandr Mischenko has told Interfax-Azerbaijan.
“We have listened to Trump’s promising statements both during the campaign and after that who said the priority must be given to fight against terrorism, and, in particular, the “Islamic State”, we have proposed this during the last 6 years,” Assad told the Belgian media.
