USD 22 mln to be Allocated to Armenia
Board of Directors of International Monetary Fund (IMF) confirmed the third report on its mission regarding Armenia’s economy within financial assistance, which will allow the country to obtain USD 22 million. The Fund informs that according to the report, the country has fulfilled its liabilities assumed by the allocated loan and amendments.
Thus, the three-month program on financial assistance to Armenia will be completed by USD 71.5 million.
“Despite difficult external conditions, implementation of the program is quite satisfactory, major part of purposes has been fulfilled,” IMF Deputy Managing Director Mitsuhiro Furusawa explained the resolution of the directors.
