Bako Sahakyan not to Head for Moscow
Bako Sahakyan, NKR president, won’t leave for Moscow. David Babayan, press secretary of NKR president, told 168.am, reflecting to Russian politician Alexander Karavayev’s statement that Bako Sahakyan was called to Moscow.
Note, Russian analyst Karavayev told Azerbaijani media outlets that the Kremlin called Bako Sahakyan, NKR president, to Moscow.
According to the same expert, serious talks will be launched with Bako Sahakyan. At the same time, he didn’t clarify which concrete meetings will NKR president have in Moscow, however, he stated that by accepting Sahakyan, Moscow attempts to understand how it may influence on Stepanakert without Yerevan’s mediation.
He also stressed that Baku shouldn’t worry in this regard.
David Babayan said, “Who is Karavayev to spread such information.” “Don’t we know who is Karavayev and what does he do and who does he work for? Such information lacks and it doesn’t correspond to the reality,” David Babayan clarified. He negatively replied to our clarifying question whether Bako Sahakyan would head for Moscow or not.
