“We have revealed not only burials of elders, but also of children and newborns, which are concrete civilization indices, spread only in Ancient Rome, where particular attention was attached to burials of children. It turns out, the same situation was existent in Karmir Blur, and special love towards children, which is peculiar to us today, has been existent since ancient times.”
The revision of gas and electricity tariff policy will be discussed under the supervision of Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan after the Government’s session. After the session the PM asked the Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission Robert Nazaryan how much time is needed for presenting proposals on the revision of the policy.
Armenian newly appointed PM Karen Karapetyan gave a recommendation to the State Revenue Committee (SRC). It referred to fight against corruption in Armenia.
“Monopolies should be treated in the following way: country’s being small will lead to the point that there won’t be any big actor, it’s another question—does it originate in fair, competitive conditions or in an administrative way? There will be equal conditions. If any of them is successive business, we’re not going to seize that in any way.”
“Does Armenia’s economy has a formula to be reproduced without fight against shadow? No. Should we attempt to do that? Yes. Will we succeed? We’ll see. Are we determined? Yes.”
“There won’t be anticipations that we’ll quickly change our economy, however, we’ll give signals in which direction our economy will move forward. We used the program of former Government. We’ll develop our economy to the direction of establishing maximum favorable conditions for the one, who creates additional value.”
“I have always been interested in honey production and promotion of the honey types produced in different areas in the market. After reaching a final idea to do this, we started to examine the honey market in Armenia and the further perspectives of the production development. The process took us around one and a half years. At first it was a little difficult, the beekeepers were suspicious towards us, the sellers didn’t want to cooperate, the customers didn’t believe that our product was ecologically pure”- tells George Tabakian.
“The electoral stakeholders in Armenia should now fully implement the new electoral legislation in good faith in order to increase credibility, transparency and public trust in the new electoral system and procedures in line with international standards,” Maja Kocijancic said.
“What seemed unbelievable, what the political powers and the civil society have claimed for a long time, and it seemed the issue won’t be solved, is currently being solved. Today the incredible is becoming a reality,” ANC Faction Head Levon Zurabyan said, thanking all the participants of the process.
“Frankly speaking I don’t have positive influence from our work, implemented last year. We, surely, passed laws, delivered speeches, paid working visits. We seem to have maintained the formal side. I consider the history won’t simply forget us regarding content.”
