Trump orders to arm Kurdish fighters in Syria
US President Donald Trump approved arming Kurds in Syria who are fighting the Islamic State, the Pentagon said.
Kurdish groups which are part of the Syrian Democratic Forces alliance, will be supllied with armaments and ammo, in order to help in liberating Raqqa from the ISIS fighters.
According to BBC the date of supply isn’t yet known. Currently the Kurdish forces are fighting ISIS for control of Tabqa, a city 50km from Raqqa.
