Volynkin condemns Azerbaijani shooting of Armenian TV reporters

In a meeting with reporters, the Ambassador said every soundminded person must condemn such incidents when the humanitarian norms are violated.
“A very painful incident took place, and I condemn it. Reporters, doctors and people with other peaceful professions must not be under fire of the conflicting sides,” he said.

Shant TV’s Horizon news reported Azerbaijani forces fired large caliber firearms at the TV crew’s vehicle. Cameraman of the TV show Davit Atoyan has been wounded in the shooting. He underwent surgery. Criminal case was filed over the incident.
