All this is planned: Armen Ashotyan observes tendency of fake calls
The Republican Party of Armenia assesses the process of the parliamentary elections as normal, Vice-President of the party Armen Ashotyan told reporters today. He underscored that similar issues are very rare.
Ahsotyan stated it’s a special day today, “ First and foremost, we respect the memory of April victims. They gave their lives also for today, for the sake of security and progress of Armenia and Artsakh.”
According to Ashotyan any serious incidents haven’t been recorded yet,
“There is no serious reason for concern. The technical issues of equipments which happened, interested our party as well, of course. Armenia is one of the exceptional countries where a top-modern electoral system has been introduced, which is not only the best from a legal point of view, but is also rather difficult with electoral solutions. Tens of thousands devices have been installed in polling stations, and the malfunctioning of a few cannot shadow the normal process of the election.”
RPA Vice-President stated that there is a tendency of fake calls by some circles,
“Media junk is being accumulated, to reflect and clarify which time is needed, yes, there are incidents, they are single, however, and can’t be regarded as a ground for election process. All this is planned.”
