UN human rights experts called for the prompt release of prisoners of war and other captives from the recent Nagorno Karabakh conflict, and for the return of bodies to families for burial with due respect for cultural customs, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights reports.
A medical examination is underway to identify the bodies. According to preliminary information the deceased are reservists who were drafted during the war.
Yesterday, on 25 January of this year, Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction promulgated the judgement under the civil case Khachatryans vs RA Prime Minister’s Staff, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Mane Gevorgyan (Prime Minister’s spokesperson) that was initiated upon Gagik, Gurgen and Artyom Khachatryans’ cliam after Press Secretary of the RA Prime Minister Mane Gevorgyan’s post made on her “facebook. com” social site page on 28 April 2020 that was insulting and defaming them. Khachatryans claimed to apology for the insulting statement addressed to them as well as refute defamatory information.
Artsakh authorities say they’ve found four more bodies of the Artsakh War casualties.
Rescuaers of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) continue the search operations in the battle zones, in particular in Askeran, Martuni, Hadrut, Mekhakavan (Jabrayil), Vorotan (Kubatlu) sections, official of the State Emergency Service of Artsakh Hunan Tadevosyan told Armenpress, adding that search for missing in action, who are likely hiding, will also continue in all sites.
Bodies of 19 servicemen and 1 civilian have been found as a result of search operations in the battle zones, in particular in Hadrut-Karmrakuch and Jabrayil directions, the State Emergency Service of Artsakh told Armenpress.

During the war, Nikol Pashinyan hastily declared that taxpayer behavior has essentially changed and that, in spite of the difficult economic situation, taxpayers have become more duteous.
“After the war, Azerbaijan has announced the initiative to establish a new structure that will also include the Republic of Armenia, and the issue of refugees will be considered within the scope of that structure,” citizen of Kazakhstan expelled from the Republic of Armenia, international relations specialist, former analyst of Orbeli Analytical Research Center Andranik Hovhannisyan said during the “Review” show, emphasizing that, based on Azerbaijan’s calculations, there are 1,000,000 Azerbaijani refugees, which is inaccurate.
