In response to regular inquiries from numerous media outlets, the national security service notifies that in regard to the smuggling of an IGLA anti-aircraft missile system to Armenia various investigative actions are taken at the current stage with the participation of the suspects, which are aimed at clarifying their roles and nature of involvement, as well as clarifying other circumstances of the case.
The President’s Office told the President signed an order on March 23 on appointing Oleg Yesayan as Ambassador of Armenia to Belarus (residence in Minsk). Yesayan has also been appointed as permanent plenipotentiary representative of Armenia in the statutory and other bodies of the CIS.
