In their turn the Congress delegation members presented the results of their visit to Artsakh and expressed readiness to continue making efforts aimed at developing the Armenian-American inter-state ties and peacefully and fairly settling the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
During the meeting the ongoing efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs aimed at peacefully settling the Nagorno Karabakh conflict were discussed.
The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), said the purpose of the visit is to participate in an upcoming event of the agency on September 26.
“The purpose of this visit is to learn how Armenia is working to guarantee people’s right to health, including the measures already taken, the achievements made and the challenges that remain,” said Mr. Pūras, the first Special Rapporteur on the right to health to visit the country.
The MP said he has discussed issues related to the Armenian-Turkish relations during his meetings with Armenian officials.
Members of national delegations of Euronest PA, European lawmakers, representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations of Baku will participate in the event.

The European Union will hold a conference in Brussels in spring of 2018 dedicated to providing assistance to and restoring Syria, Federica Mogherini – EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, said in her remarks at the high-level meeting on Syria, TASS reports.

If the status issue gets a solution, then all remaining issues will be solved justly and reasonably, since all remaining issues are derivatives. I would also like to repeat what we’ve said numerous times, the solution of all these issued is only possible with the participation of Nagorno Karabakh.
In a statement issued to the press, members of the Council noted that the planned referendum is scheduled to be held while operations to counter Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL/Da’esh) – in which Kurdish forces have played a critical role – are ongoing.
