Noting that 2017 is a symbolic milestone for Armenia and Poland, as the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations is being marked this year along with the 650th anniversary of establishment of the Armenian community in Poland, Presidents Sargsyan and Duda expressed satisfaction with the dynamically developing interstate relations based on centuries-old friendship between the two peoples.

Ashotyan made the comment at the Armenia-Diaspora forum, in response to a question from the audience on how he would vote if the EEU membership issue were to be put in the agenda.
He said in order to join NATO the consent of all member states is necessary.
“The EEU is a very simple economic platform, it is a club where five countries have agreed upon the rules of working in it. And the indicators which we are publishing – exports, imports, economic growth, are the very consequence of this policy”, he said.
“Let’s say it this way, allow me not to comment on the opinions of individuals. Ask me when an official HHK opinion will be made. Have you heard an official opinion from the party?”, the PM said.
