The President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Austrian parliamentarian Christine Muttonen, called for the immediate agreement on the extension of mandates of OSCE field operations, some of which are currently being held up by representatives of OSCE countries, press service of the OSCE PA informed.
“At the moment I consider it illogical to touch upon what scenario the negotiations will have, however, I am sure we have an option to ensure our security and victory through those negotiations,” the PM said.
“I’ve been a citizen of Armenia for the past five years, I have resided outside Yerevan. Does it comply with the limit of days to be included in the RPA list, I don’t know the answer, but if it doesn’t then I won’t be in the list.”
Obama embraced a common Biden tactic in his remarks by including a quote from an Irish poet and words of wisdom from the vice president’s parents.
“Currently the OSCE Austrian chairmanship continues talks on reaching agreement over the draft decision, and Armenia, as a country hosting the Office, is part of those consultations. As the talks are underway, at this moment we do not find it appropriate to present details of the consultations,” he said.
“We may suppose that it’ll be singed in summer or September, however, currently we can’t clearly anticipate, as negotiations are in process and anticipations may be less realistic in this regard.”
“As the situation is tense on the border and on the contact line now, negotiations are at a deadlock, perhaps the Co-Chairs intend to show that they are concerned over the situation and NK issue is under their strict control and attention.”
“I think the last proposal is interesting. We will discuss it in the Government and will make a respective decision”, he said. The contract term between “Gazprom Export” and Georgia, that relates to the transit of the natural gas to Armenia, expired on January 1.
His voice at moments catching with emotion, Obama recounted a presidency that saw setbacks as well as successes. Admitting candidly that political discourse has soured under his watch, Obama demanded that Americans renew efforts at reconciliation.
Current President Joachim Gauck announced Herzog’s death on Tuesday, without giving details. In a message to Herzog’s widow, he described the former head of state as “a distinctive personality” who “advocated readiness for reform and at the same time stood for preserving the tried and tested.”
