MEP Jaromír Štětina (Czech Republic) explained the reason why he visited Karabakh recently as international observer in the Constitutional referendum. In an interview with Aktuálně.cz, he said he visited the Nagorno Karabakh Republic since he is against dictatorship.
“I don’t consider that wide-scale war may be touched upon, however, the developments, which may be comparable with the April War, aren’t excluded, due to the very reason that the Azerbaijani side undertakes steps to justify itself both for internal and external auditorium,” S.Minasyan said.
“This is not helpful at all and is not how mature countries conduct their business. We will certainly have a thorough discussion in the European Parliament on how to proceed. This will not stand,” Soraya Post said.
Austria makes efforts to settle NK conflict as OSCE chairman country, Sebastian Kurz, Austria’s Foreign Minister, OSCE Chairman in Office told at the United Nations Security Council.
“It’s been a long time Azerbaijani authorities have turned everything into ridicule both the international law and even their internal life,” Shavarsh Kocharyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, told reporters today after the Cabinet meeting.
“It is necessary to show the international community the possible consequences of Aliyev’s decisions for all the remaining countries. Works must be done on this path, it is necessary to do so that Azerbaijan’s such demands are not satisfied at all. MEPs are in the wanted list, I think this issue will be discussed in the agenda of the European Parliament. I am more than convinced that they will criticize Azerbaijan,” he said.
“The leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan supported this in the documents signed by them. OSCE all members also supported this cochairmanship format,” Lavrov said.
“We always assist the principle, according to which offices are opened in different countries – based on the desire of the given OSCE member state. In this case we aren’t indifferent especially because the Armenian office is headed by a Russia citizen,” Lavrov said.
“The function and parameters of this weapon enable to inflict irreversible damage to infrastructures of a country, which it can be used against. Respectively, the decision on using Iskanders will closely depend on developments of the situation.”
“Currently we have discussed two energy corridors with Iran’s Energy Minister—one of them is Russia-Georgia-Armenia-Iran. Currently feasibility study is being developed, which will be ready in the second half of ongoing year,” Novak said.
