US President Donald trump arrived in Saudi Arabia on May 20, the first foreign trip since taking the office, TASS reports. Thereafter, Trump will visit Israel, Vatican and then will attend the NATO summit in Brussels.
A meeting between government officials and representatives of the civil society took place on May 19 in the foreign ministry of Armenia, the purpose of which was to discuss the outline of the Armenia-EU 2017- 2020 partnership priority document, as well as opportunities of joint work in relevant directions, the ministry told.
“Mediator countries are attempting to prevent the escalation processes with this statement, because Azerbaijan is consistently adding tension to processes in the frontline. The chapter of solving the conflict militarily hasn’t yet been closed in Azerbaijan – Azerbaijan’s intention on preparing for active actions is simply obvious,” Abrahamyan said.
“Enough meddling … Go home, Donald Trump. Get out of Venezuela. Get your dirty hands out of here,” Maduro said as quoted by Reuters.
“Many are trying to fish in troubled waters. They will face trial,” Francisco Garcés, Mayor of Guaicaipuro said.
The Texas House of Representatives unanimously passed House Resolution 191, titled “Recognizing the Armenian Genocide,” on May 19, thus making The Lone Star State the 46th state in the U.S. to ofcially classify and commemorate the 1915-1923 annihilation of Ottoman Turkey’s indigenous Armenian community as genocide, the Armenian Weekly reports.

Trump will go first to Saudi Arabia, where he will be welcomed by King Salman. The Saudi leader is organizing a greeting committee of as many 20 other heads of state representing a large percentage of the world’s 1.5 billion Sunni Muslims.
