“Obviously, there is a political backing in this. Besides of being a political scientist and expert, Stepan Grigoryan also previously worked in the Armenian Embassy to Russia, he was the Deputy Chief of Mission.”

A strategic command staff exercise codenamed Kavkaz-2016 with 12,500 troops taking part has begun in the Southern Military District, the Russian Defense Ministry has said.
