“The growth rates in terms of export, that were registered in 2016, will be at least maintained, and we will further exceed those rates. In terms of investments we will also have growth rates.”
“I think the last proposal is interesting. We will discuss it in the Government and will make a respective decision”, he said. The contract term between “Gazprom Export” and Georgia, that relates to the transit of the natural gas to Armenia, expired on January 1.
“A normal process is ongoing—the sides seek and attempt to find the most favorable solutions. The debate is the following: whether to take money for the transit or certain interest from the transit gas.”

The economist brought the example of “Zvartnots” airport, when there is no restriction in the duty free area, and generally in other countries actions are being organized to boost purchase.
“Our production growth edifies it. Upon our anticipations we’ll conclude the year with 7% growth, which edifies that industry has grown,” the Minister said.
“Currently we have attempted to restore that distrust, and 6 out of 8 companies are functioning in Armenia. There was distrust towards the state, cooperation with the Government wasn’t rather clear.”
