“Any state, any country, had preconditions, on the basis of which it developed, and it’s conditioned by their difference on how productively one may reach success. Of course, this doesn’t exclude that we need to accept, that some positive sides, at least identically, can be adopted.”
The economist brought the example of “Zvartnots” airport, when there is no restriction in the duty free area, and generally in other countries actions are being organized to boost purchase.
“Our production growth edifies it. Upon our anticipations we’ll conclude the year with 7% growth, which edifies that industry has grown,” the Minister said.
“Currently we have attempted to restore that distrust, and 6 out of 8 companies are functioning in Armenia. There was distrust towards the state, cooperation with the Government wasn’t rather clear.”
Several media outlets reported citing Russian news agencies that the import procedures of vehicles to Armenia will be changed from January 1, 2017. In this regard, the State Revenue Committee notifies that the changes and limitations mentioned in the publications will come into force only from the year of 2020.
“Russian-Armenian Contemporary Humanitarian Institute” educational foundation owes the state around AMD 600 thousand. The Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) plans to urge the foundation to return the debt to the state budget at the session to be held on December 28.
Reflecting to conditions, which Iran may establish for the Armenian businessmen, Shafei stated that Iran’s economy is getting used to the new situation. According to him, Iranian Government got used to the regime of self-sufficiency under the sanctions, attempting to foster capabilities of local producers. He considers for this very reason Iran has become self-sufficient in almost all the fields.

Visit of Iranian president to Armenia, bilateral statements made during those several hours, caused a big stir among political and expert circles, because as a result of the visit, basically, the circle of expectations related to Armenia-Iran relations was clearly shaped.
