The people of Artsakh have been under blocade for 24 hours now, cut off from communication with the outside world. The Azerbaijanis closed the Stepanakert-Goris road, which is the only way connecting Artsakh with outside world.
The Parliament of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) released a statement addressing the international community to prevent the humanitarian disaster facing the people of Artsakh.
On December 9, we were informed that the Civil Court Of Appeal overturned the decision which was in favor of Hraparak Daily LLC, sending the case to the court of general jurisdiction for a new thorough examination.
On the night of November 16, Armen Ashotyan, the vice-chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), was blocked from leaving Armenia. During the passport check at the Zvartnots airport, the decision to ban Ashotyan was explained by the fact that he was accused in some case, while the RPA vice-president claims that he was not charged with any case at that moment.
“In other words, it is clear that a political decision was initially taken to not allow me to exit the country, after which they fabricated and attached certain documents under that decision,” Armen Ashotyan concluded.
During the previous four and a half years, democracy in Armenia has undergone consistent and methodical degradation. Nikol Pashinyan, who came to power in a democratic way with a revolutionary, i.e., at least one-faced perception, has become an authoritarian leader with all the characteristic features over the years. First of all, he implemented all the steps for which he had been criticizing the previous authorities for decades, and largely due to that he came to power.

The Union of Journalists of Armenia, considering such a behavior of a deputy as unacceptable, at the same time calls on all journalists working in the parliament, regardless of the political preferences, disagreements or contradictions of the media they represent, to be united and show partnership solidarity, not allowing any deputy, one more time, regardless of political affiliation, journalists to cross the boundaries of courtesy in relations.
A statement was adopted after the meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the European Political Community summit in Prague at the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron and President of the European Council Charles Michel.
Unfortunately, as life showed the ultimate challenge, which became a disaster for the Armenian nation, is to tolerate the defeatist rulers, who have seized the power through false promises, who are exhausting wastefully every achievement attained on the road towards the establishment and strengthening of independence and who have put the future of our people and our state in a grave danger.
