Mikayel Hambardzumyan, First Deputy Chief of Investigation Department of NSS, told on this reporters today. He stressed that people accused within this criminal case, as considered innocent, as there are no verdicts in force. In an interview with reporters, photos of proofs have been shown, on which Mikayel Hambardzumyan introduced his comments.
“To our assessment, program and purpose of the grouping was informed, after which he assumed a certain role to provide participation in its implementation and do some activities. Currently our issue is clarifying whether Shirkhanyan has implemented any activities or not. After that we’ll again touch upon assessment of Shirkhanyan’s activities.”
“Likewise idea has been circulated in the grouping. Even certain actions have been implemented by the members of the grouping, however, final program, agreement hasn’t been initiated by Artur Vardanyan, organizer of the grouping, it was only on discussion level.”
Touching upon cooperation with Armenia, A.Kinakh stated that issues of utmost importance are being discussed: how to improve bilateral cooperation, trade turnover, investments under global processes, from serious competition in international market, up to socio-political developments both in Europe and Asia.
Prices for medicament in the period of 2014-2015 have essentially fallen, however, in procurement of the Ministry cases are observed when they are purchased by considerably higher price that the import price. For instance, 4677 tablets of Desmopressin Acetate 0.1mg/5ml have been purchased by the Ministry in 2014, each tablet costing AMD 5789, with the total amount of AMD 27 million 75.2, in case, when it has been imported to Armenia by AMD 2720, or twice cheaper than the price purchased by the Ministry.
Moreover, in Vache Gabrielyan’s assessment, the situation might have been worse, if Armenia refused to engage with EEU.
On the whole, in his words, agreement of the parties will be a big positive signal, as Nagorno-Karabakh conflict remains one of the most militarized and hazardous ones of the post-Soviet space, conflicting parties of which continue investing means for defence strengthening and weaponry purchasing.
“Official Stepanakert made a few proposals, that it’s necessary to refrain from violation of ceasefire regime on holidays and the co-chairs accepted it rather enthusiastically and called on maintaining ceasefire regime during the days of Nowruz and Easter, which shows that our proposal was adopted by the co-chairs. According to some data, Azerbaijan also adopted it, but it lasted for only 1-2 hours, and Aliyev violated ceasefire regime during the ceasefire, by that desecrating their own holiday and commandments of their religious God. Accordingly, what do we expect from such a state? Only sanctions should be defined, if the whole world fights against terrorists, if they are looked for in the whole world, the same should be implemented towards them.”
“Maybe I have never published those names, but, now I will. 4 months later, two members of the Constitutional Court, former judges, told me, that until that moment they hadn’t informed me, but they had been assigned for the review, and they had reported the president in written form that the military prosecutor was right, and the Chamber—not. Moreover, the second president assigned the then prosecutor general to quickly and operatively conclude additional investigation and send it to the court with the same charges.”
According to M.Apresyan, it’s anticipated to establish an interdepartmental working group and discuss the issues, develop proposals and submit them to the government. According to him, they met representatives of tour agencies and hotels.
