During the combat actions initiated by Azerbaijani military forces and armed groups launched such activities in regards to the civilians of Nagorno Karabakh and the soldiers that have a lot in common with the activities of international terrorist groups. Those activities are military crimes according to international humanitarian law.
“We condemn the breach of the 1994 Ceasefire Treaty by Azerbaijan, the violation of the Artsakh people’s right to live in peace, the targeting of the civilian population and settlements, the purposeful failure and denial of the efforts aimed at the solution of the problem by the internationally accepted format of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and the policy of settling the Nagorno Karabakh conflict through military means.”
Intense battles are taking place along all Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces. Karabakh forces, causing considerable manpower and military equipment losses, took the initiative in their hands in north-eastern and south-eastern directions. During the military actions the adversary lost 3 tanks in north-eastern direction, and 2 tanks in south-eastern direction.

The Azerbaijani side continued bombarding civilian settlements and Defense Army positions in the line of contact on the early morning of April 4. The Press Service of the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Ministry released a statement.
According to official Baku, 21 is equal to 12. To conceal its own losses, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry turns out to be applying the simple trick of swapping the figures and representing 21 casualties it suffered in only one battle as 12.
The Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army is ready to discuss the cease-fire proposal in the context of the recovery of the initial positions.
