By President Serzh Sargsyan’s decree on March 10 Ara Nranyan was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Control Chamber of Armenia. As informed by the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Presidential Administration, the Presidential decree states:
During the meeting the sides will discuss many areas of cooperation, including trade, investment, energy, humanitarian, economic, as well as prospects of development of integration processes in the Eurasian area. President Serzh Sargsyan signed laws passed by the National Assembly on making changes and amendments in the Republic of Armenia Law “On State Duty” on March 4, and on making changes and amendments in Republic of Armenia Law“ Activity implementation notification “.
On March 3 Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree appointing chief of his Control Service Hovhannes Hovsepyan head of the government-affiliated State Revenues Committee (SRC). As informed from the Department of Mass Media and Public Relations that the President also touched upon his decree on reorganizing Armenian Ministry of Finance, and the tasks of SRC, which is in the new status.
President Serzh Sargsyan received the head of Yerevan Office of Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Ambassador Andrey Sorokin on March 3, who completes his mission in Armenia. As informed from the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of Republic of Armenia President’s Office, the President thanked Ambassador Sorokin for his active efforts during his tenure and mentioned with satisfaction that the OSCE Office in Yerevan headed by him carried out productive works and implemented numerous projects in different spheres.
Michel Furier assessed the cooperation with the Armenian Government as efficient and noted that “Saur” is interested in the continuation and expansion of its activities in Armenia. The parties discussed issues of further cooperation in the field of water supply.
President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory telegram to the Distinguished Artist of Republic of Armenia Ara Yernjakyan on the occasion of his 65th birthday, wishing him health, new creative achievements and all the best.
