Armenia’s caretaker Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan visited several sections of Artsakh’s eastern border on November 4 to get acquainted with the military service process and the existing situation, Sahakyan’s office said.
The Azerbaijani troops violated the ceasefire regime over 100 times on Artsakh-Azerbaijan contact line in the period of October 28-November 3, during which over 800 bullets were fired in the direction of Armenian border guards from different caliber weapons.
The Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group (Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, Stéphane Visconti of France, and Andrew Schofer of the United States of America), together with the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk, visited the region from 29 October to 2 November.
During the discussions relating to regional conflicts at the meeting of the Core Group of the Munich Security Conference in Minsk, President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian responded to the statements of an Azerbaijani delegate over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, as well as the latter’s observation according to which “the second and third presidents of Armenia had no right to hold that position because of not being from Armenia in origins”.
President of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan met acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in Stepanakert, who has paid a working visit to Artsakh.
President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian on November 1 participated in the meeting discussions of the Core Group of the Munich Security Conference in Minsk, the capital of Belarus.
On October 31, in accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh, the OSCE Mission conducted a planned monitoring of the ceasefire regime on the border of Artsakh and Azerbaijan, on the Akna-Hindarkh road section.

There cannot be any solution in the Nagorno Karabakh (NK) conflict settlement that wouldn’t be acceptable for the peoples of Armenia and Artsakh and the government of Artsakh, acting PM Nikol Pashinyan told reporters – addressing a recent statement by US National Security Advisor John Bolton who said that the victory of Pashinyan’s political force in the upcoming early elections of parliament in Armenia would be a good opportunity for taking action in the direction of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement.
